What are the advantages of aligners over other orthodontic methods?
During the initial consultation, we will discuss your orthodontic needs. We will take impressions of your teeth and bite, and create a complete set of photographs of your teeth, bite, and face. We will schedule the X-rays required for orthodontic treatment.
Next, we will work with our team of orthodontists to develop your treatment plan, during which you will receive information about the number of aligners you will wear, the duration of treatment, and a visualization of your new smile .
When treatment with aligners begins, photopolymer attachments will be placed on some of your teeth to facilitate orthodontic movement. Each set of aligners is worn 20 to 22 hours a day for 7 to 14 days. They are removed only for eating and oral hygiene.

Aligners are clear, removable trays that gradually straighten the teeth. They are an excellent alternative to traditional braces. For optimal results, they are worn for 20–22 hours a day, are custom-made, and are replaced every 1–2 weeks.
The duration depends on the complexity of your case, typically ranging from 6 to 18 months.
Each aligner is replaced every 7 to 14 days, depending on your orthodontist’s instructions. Each new aligner moves your teeth millimeter by millimeter toward the desired position.
You may feel slight pressure or discomfort for 1–2 days after putting in a new set. This is completely normal and a sign that the treatment is working.
Eating: Aligners must be removed before every meal.
Drinks: Water is the only liquid you can consume while wearing aligners. For coffee, tea, wine, or juices, remove them to avoid staining and bacterial buildup.
Clean them with a toothbrush and lukewarm water (not hot, to prevent warping) at least twice a day. You can also use specialized cleaning tablets.
You may experience slight slurring for the first 1–2 days after starting treatment. Once your tongue gets used to the aligners, your speech will return to normal completely.
