Plasma therapy (PRP, Vampire Facelift) is a regenerative procedure that counteracts the skin’s aging processes.
Plasma therapy (PRP, Vampire Facelift) is a regenerative procedure that counteracts the skin’s aging processes. In plasma therapy, so-called PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is injected—plasma rich in platelets. It is a a product derived from the patient’s own, pre-treated blood. The method has been used for years in medicine to repair tendons and joints and to accelerate wound healing, and in recent years it has also found widespread application in aesthetic medicine.
Unlike mesotherapy, which involves injecting hyaluronic acid, amino acids, vitamins, antioxidants, and others, plasma therapy uses the patient’s own product—their own plasma—to release growth factors. In other words, plasma therapy is based on the human body’s natural healing abilities to slow down the skin’s aging process.
The procedure is suitable for the face, neck, décolletage, hands, and scalp.
✓ Smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles on the face, neck, décolleté, and hands
✓ Regeneration, tightening, and firming of the skin
✓ Improvement in skin tone and texture
✓ Reduces dark circles and bags around the eyes
✓ Evens out skin tone and reduces pigmentation
✓ With PRP plasma therapy on the scalp – helps treat certain forms of hair loss;
stimulates the hair follicle and, consequently, strengthens and accelerates hair growth
✓ PRP plasma therapy is suitable for men and women of all age groups.
✓ For younger patients – for overall rejuvenation and toning, as well as reducing fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes.
✓ For older patients – to reduce visible wrinkles and tighten and firm the skin.
✓ The procedure is suitable for people who suffer from allergies and cannot or do not want to apply synthetically derived substances to their skin.
✓ For patients seeking the most natural methods of rejuvenation.
An examination and consultation are conducted, and the treatment areas are selected. An anesthetic cream is applied before the procedure. Using a closed vacuum system, blood is drawn from the patient’s vein and subsequently processed in a special centrifuge. A special separating gel separates the plasma, rich in platelets (PRP), from the hemoglobin and other substances in the blood. The skin is then cleaned, and the procedure begins.
The procedure takes about 30 minutes. The prepared plasma is injected through multiple punctures across the entire area using a very fine needle. Papules & ndash; small bumps that disappear completely within 24 hours after the procedure. Mild redness and swelling are possible after the procedure, but they subside quickly; in some patients, small hematomas (bruises) may appear.
Also known as the "vampire facelift," the procedure involves injecting the patient’s own platelet-rich plasma back into the body (face, neck, décolleté, scalp, or joints). It stimulates the body’s natural healing and regenerative processes.
The risk of allergic reactions is virtually zero, as biological material from the patient themselves is used. Mild redness, swelling, or small bruises may appear at the injection site, which subside within a few days.
Treatment course: Usually, 3 to 4 procedures are recommended, performed at intervals of 3 to 4 weeks. To maintain the results, one treatment is performed every 6 to 12 months.
Results: The first visible improvements begin to appear after about 1–2 weeks. Since the therapy relies on the body’s natural collagen production, the full effect develops gradually over several months.
The procedure is versatile and is successfully used for:
1. Rejuvenation of the face, neck, and hands (smoothing of fine lines and improvement of elasticity).
2. Reducing dark circles under the eyes.
3. Treating hair loss and stimulating hair growth (including after transplantation).
4. Recovery from joint and muscle injuries in orthopedics.
